Our Story
My name is Robert F. Edens (Bob), founder of American Technology Solutions, established in 2010 after a fulfilling career at AT&T and Lucent Technologies. During my tenure at these industry giants, I developed strong leadership, sales and technical skills while managing relationships with major clients such as Black & Decker, USF&G, E.I. Dupont, and AlliedSignal (now Honeywell). This experience honed my ability to provide tailored business solutions that stood out from competitors while emphasizing exceptional customer service.
With certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Black Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute, I was well-equipped to help businesses navigate communication and technical challenges. However, despite the rewarding nature of my time with AT&T and Lucent Technologies, I often felt constrained in making quick decisions that directly benefited our customers. This inspired me to embark on an entrepreneurial journey where I could prioritize customer needs and provide responsive, personalized service.
In 2020, I launched American Technology Solutions & Cloud to enhance our capabilities and better serve our growing customer base. Our solutions, whether premise-based or cloud-based, work seamlessly to deliver comprehensive communication and technology services to businesses in the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas and throughout Arizona.
In 2025, we expanded into Salt Lake City, UT, and the surrounding areas. With a combined team experience of over 100 years, we are proud to have earned the trust of more than 700 customers.
